Nothing to egregious, other than when she tried to speak Italian.but it was a non speaker saying it so that's sort of a moot point. When people surprise the protagonist, we should be familiar enough with the voices to know who it is, but that only happened about 70% of the time. For a more youthful gathering of people, they may have been fine.
Eadlyn is handling all her suitors, not having any kind of genuine or straightforward sensations for any one of them. These are the most exceedingly awful names I’ve ever found in a YA. An additional problem is that in spite of this being a love at base, there is not truly any kind of love. America Singer, Tuesday Keeper, Tiny, Maxon, Aspen. Some terrible things: Some of the names are past crazy.

Also sometimes her character's voices would change and it made things confusing. Some narrators are good enough that you can tell when the protagonist is thinking vs. Nothing about it was distracting to a point of stopping (I did stop, but not because of her), but it was kind of annoying when she would switch the cadences of her speech and sort of muddled what the author meant. The narrator is a tad inconsistent, but I have heard other books she's read and I enjoyed them a lot.

America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown - or to Prince Maxons heart.

I think this series would have been better if it were one book as I might have been able to take the heartache for an hour or two, not the whole book and probably moving into the next one. Now, the time has come for one winner to be chosen. The author moves the plot too slowly for me.
